I want to see G.I. Joe. In no way did I ever think I would say, “I want to see G.I. Joe.” When I was little, my uncle had a few of the action figures, but I always thought they were enormous and too cumbersome to be played with properly; I much preferred my Star Wars figures.
When I heard there was going to be a G.I. Joe movie, I shrugged it off. “Oh, another war move, who cares?” I figured that at best, it would be some Jarhead type thing. A few castings later, I was interested, and a few trailers later, I was looking forward to it.
Anyone who knows me will be able to look at the movie poster and identify the two main reasons I want to see this movie. Oh, and if they had somehow worked Sean Bean into the movie, it may have just been my favorite movie of all time (even if it sucks). Ha! Regardless, I seriously may drag myself to see this sometime this weekend.

Yes, I will preface this by saying that I HATE the HP movies. In fact, I hate PoA more than any other movie ever made. I have mentioned it on this site and others and don’t really want to compound what I’m about to say with the acrid remarks I reserve solely for that film.
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, while not my favorite novel, is still one of the best of the series. The MAJOR developments and MAJOR history we need to know are all right there in the book. Certainly the movie will give us the information we need to know, right? NO. I watched the first twenty minutes or so of the film, became utterly disgusted and quit it for good.
My thoughts were something like this: That didn’t happen. That isn’t what happened, THAT makes NO sense, OMFG, WHAT?!? Oh, I see Hermione still has constipation face (seriously, Emma Watson is gorgeous, but her portrayal of Hermione makes me want to avoid cheese at all costs…they should spike her pumpkin juice with castor oil), OMG, no, just no no no no no no.
Thanks to Cleolinda Jones’
m15m, I now know that somehow the Weasley house gets burned by deatheaters…the fuck?!??!? There’s no way I’m ever going to finish the movie, and I’d say it’s a good bet that I won’t be seeing the final movie(s) either. Pfft.

I’ve been grumbling. I’ve been hating. And now, I’ve been convinced. I actually like the trailer for Alice in Wonderland and am leaning toward wanting to see the movie now. All along (and it still holds true), I’ve been saying how over I am of Burton/Depp’s monotonous endeavors. Though this may well turn out to be “more of the same” once all is said and done, there was enough of a spark in the trailer to hook me. Wow!
Wellll, I guess my enthusiasm for the movie just took a giant dip since the studio ordered everyone to delete the trailer. Way to lose fans, guys! Pfft.
