Am I the only one in America who’s not interested in The Dark Knight? There is absolutely no chance that I’ll see it in a theater, and there’s little chance that I’ll even dl it. I’m sure it’s actually, you know, dark, as in brightness, and that doesn’t bode well for dl’s. Meh. Just tell me what happens and it will be as good as being there….better even.

SGA is on tonight. Whoop-de-doo. I used to love Fridays for that very reason, but this is a Keller ep, so, Bah! Maybe I’ll hold today’s recordings of Voyager and watch them later instead. Hey, either way, it’s a Picardo kind of night, no? :smile:

My grandmother came out of her surgery much better for it. They removed some clots and infection and she’s on her way home. Dad said we might try to make Mom go out for steak tonight, and I certainly hope we do. There’s a new dish at Texas Steakhouse I want to try:

Honestly, to those of you who know me…When I open my mouth to speak, does the English language come out? I just got a really REALLY bad haircut, AGAIN. I used the exact same words my terrific stylist I had to leave in Florida told me to say. It shouldn’t be this hard to get a simple and popular haircut. I’m not asking for some innovative, creative cut. It’s a cut that every third female in America has. What’s the damn problem?!?

I admit, I’ve ~~stalked~~ checked out pretty much the same blogs forever it seems–mostly those of the old BC&S people. Now that I’ve been using the WP forum quite a bit, I’ve diversified my viewing.

That said, OMG WE’RE DOING IT WRONG! Apparently, to have a proper blog, you have to have a deep-seeded hatred of the product you’re using. You also have to have a LOT of whitespace. Color and/or graphics are frowned upon. The only color you should have is some narrow strip of “wildlife shot” as your header. Your blog looks better with a tree branch on top,yo. You didn’t know? You also have to have Google Ads. LOTS AND LOTS of Google Ads. Oh, and while it’s not mandatory, if you hate America, you get bonus points. If you are able to gather your followers properly, you can act like a six year old online and they will RUSH to defend you. I kid you not, this week has seen the “Wah! That’s it! I’m leaving!” posts of several of the support forum mods over at WP. The support for them has been astonishing.

In conclusion, all the layouts we’ve used, from Karen’s Capt. Jack Sparrow and Mutant X, to One by One’s Gwen(s), and V.D’O, to Pooh’s Joe, Cibby’s Kane, and Chasa’s Darla, have been BAD. We are teh suck.

Interview went well. Very well. This means I will probably NOT get the job….heh. Either way, I’m looking at being content for the first time in, um, maybe ever (?).

I’ve decided to stay away from Survivor: Pearl Islands spoilers. BB was a little different, with the livefeeds and whatnot, plus the circus-like feel of the show. I’ve already seen enough spoilers for Survivor to know that I’d rather just ride along blissfully unaware.
