Well, ending in the sense that I am finishing S3 today. I just read that it has been renewed for two more seasons, but I have to admit that waiting a week between episodes is going to kill me. Heh. See whut I did thar? Fantastic show, and I highly recommend it.

I want to take this moment to voice my disappointment with the photoshoots in this cycle of ANTM. They suck. There’s been a total of ONE shoot where the girls were shot alone, and their faces were smeared with colored powder for that one. Looking back to, say, cycle 2, when the shoots were inventive and still beautiful, makes me think that if ANTM doesn’t try to look back instead of trying to create some messed up future, it’s going to lose what little credibility it still has.

I’m currently awaiting the car repairman to pick up my car. I got up early for this, dude! Chop chop! Whoa, not a good thing to say to an off the books repairman…

I have a headache. I have a massive headache. Taking six tablets today hasn’t helped much. Putting in for a transfer has alternately lessened and worsened it. So. What’s the one thing that can push me over the edge? Yep. It’s Benny Ninja time on ANTM. Hellllllp. I have a twelve hour workday tomorrow and I stayed up for this?!? I’d love to stay up for Make Me A Supermodel, but I think I’ll be catching my recording of it on Friday. Nah, you’re right. It will be Saturday before I watch, as I will be conked out on the sofa from the minute I get home Friday until sometime Saturday morning. Heh.

In optimistic news, I just found out that we get not only Robin Hood on Saturday, but Primeval too! Finally–some excellent news.

They are calling it Season 3.5. This fits with what Colin talked about during Comic Con, so perhaps there is truth to the rumors. I’ve been following S.A.R.A.H. on twitter to get news (even before I had my own twitter account), but there hasn’t been any hard news yet. The new season, by all accounts, is to begin in July, so I really think we’ll get more eps sooner rather than later.

It was another meager week in fandom, but the double makeovers Wednesday night on ANTM and Make Me A Supermodel were at least something to ponder. I love ANTM as much as the next fan who’s willing to admit even watching, but the production value of the two shows is never more apparent than in the makeover episodes. Even though London and Mountaha received pretty much the same style and color, the subtle variations of Mountaha’s look make her appear far more upscale than ANTM‘s London. It’s the little things that make such a difference. Ahhh, sweet, beautiful people.

Actually, it wasn’t worth 10 minutes, I just slowed it down to look at the dimples a few times. *sigh* I guess ABC doesn’t care whether we actually enjoy the show or not as long as we continue to DVR/watch it in some capacity.

The two-hour premiere of ANTM was lackluster and didn’t get better upon second viewing today. The first photo shoot was the worst concept yet….and that’s saying a lot. I’m sure it will get better, and some of the girls actually look like models this season, which is a drastic improvement over past seasons. I’d love to see an “All Star” Cycle. Yoanna would sooo take them all. True.

Top Chef will not be watched again until the next season. I can’t get over the rat face of Hosea. Maybe the judges had just watched that Ratatouille movie and were a bit too affected by it. This is the only season that I deleted from DVR, and I am so disappointed in the show. Really. I did, however, read that my votes counted and that Fabio won “Fan Favorite”. Sweet.

After my pitiful dinner of cous cous, I’m going to watch Survivor and call it a night. You should, too.
