SG-1 is going to be a Lucian Alliance ep next week….snore. Damn, I hate that whole storyline. A lot. This week’s ep was actually entertaining on many levels. I know the Daniel/Vala shippers are over the moon and Vala fans have to be happy for her getting her patches (JUST LIKE MINE!). SGA was good, but boring as can be. Next week looks to be a little better. Entertainment Weekly just put out the Fall TV guide, and all I can say is, “Thank goodness for cable!” In looking at the new shows, the only ones halfway appealing to me are on NBC, which due to FCC(link) rules, I can’t get, so, YAY! I’ll get to go to bed as soon as I come home from work most nights! Hee!

Heroes is about a random group of people who begin to develop/realize supernatural powers. I’ve seen the first episode *whistles innocently* and I think it can grow to become one helluva good show. It’s much more story-driven than the teaser vignettes would have us think, and there is a mysterious undercurrent that really makes me want to see more.I have a sneaking suspicion the ep was leaked by the creators, a la LOST, to get some buzz going for the show. I haven’t seen much said about it yet, but I really think you should try to catch it when it airs.

SG-1 was pretty good this week. Adria, while amazingly gorgeous, just screams “Glory” to me (Buffy reference). If she had an English accent, I think she’d be just right, but that’s just my opinion. Shep’s new best friend on SGA is awesome! He has surpassed everyone save Ronon and Lizzie as my favorite character on the show. I hope we see him again and again.

I hope that when Trump finally fires that bitch Pamela, Carolyn punches her in the face while George kicks the shit out of her. Normally, I would not use such strong language when discussing television.

It’s no secret that I don’t like kids that much. I have little patience and find it difficult to deal with them for extended periods of time. However, nothing, I repeat, NOTHING gives Pamela the right to talk about those children the way she did. She knew she was being filmed. Those little boys and all of their friends and families will be watching this show just to see them on television. And what do they get to see? The most humiliating put-downs I’ve ever seen aimed at CHILDREN. CHILDREN, for pete’s sake! I have issues with NBC airing the slurs and I am strongly considering boycotting the network altogether since this was their only show I had planned on watching.

I am angry and I feel so badly for those kids. Go to hell, Pamela.

Apparently, Blood Canticle actually is Anne Rice’s last story of the Vampire Chronicles as well as the Mayfairs. I’m very disappointed in the latter. I also read on MSNBC that NBC is making a miniseries based on The Witching Hour. No comment. Just….no….comment. *sigh*
