Then Again . . .

So I said to myself, “Self?” I said, “Next snow day you’re going to make a vid.” That was before made her mindblowing MirrorMask vid and did the unthinkable and made a One Tree Hill vid that I loved (having never seen the show)! After spending two hours clipping THE FIRST EPISODE of Heroes, I’ve decided that since I only marginally liked the song I was using, I’m staying on hiatus for a bit longer. I really need to listen to more music. I love vidding, but when there’s no song, there’s no vid, and I’ve already used every song I like. Arrgh.

So my number one recommendation is to check out the two vids I mentioned because I can tell you, watching those is a helluva lot easier than making one, and 100x more enjoyable.

Of these, “Is It Any Wonder” and “Lonely Day” were by far the best received. My favorite of the lot is probably “Riot” just because I’m not fed up with the song yet.

In other news, Istar is home from the vet and doing very well. He’s currently taking a nap on the computer desk. 😉

Hobbit and Istar are sitting very close to me right now, and they’re not fighting each other. In fact, they look as if they are each in a dreamlike state. I think they’ve been mesmerized by the music of Lorena McKennitt. Why are we listening to this particular music? Finding music to use in vids is just painful for me these days, and obviously, I’m grasping at straws. I’m not going to delete this cd, however, as it seems to be a powerful weapon against kitty aggression. Hee!

zune1.jpgI don’t care what the haters say. I’m getting me one of them thar Zunes. It’s the ultimate in narcissistic fun. I can load nearly all of my vids on it and watch them ALL.THE.TIME. Somehow, I think vids by , , , and will find themselves on there as well, and enjoy more time on the playlist than my own! Hee!

Here was my conversation with Mom last night:

Me: Hey, did you hear about Zune?

Mom: Um, yes. How could I not?

Me: Yeah, I’m going to get one soon, but not just yet. I’m going to get a Zune, color, black, pretty soon though.

Mom: That sounds good.

Me: Yeah, those Zune, color, black, players seem really nice. I’d like to have one someday.

Mom: something about work

Me: Yeah, those Zune, color, black, players are cool.

Mom: Shut up, already. I get it.
