I may not be the BEST, but I can challenge ’em….

I deserve at least some kind of recognition for my sickness appreciation of LOTR. I finally got my Box Set of the Soundtracks from all three movies. I’m soooooo in love with it. It’s like watching the movie in my head over and over and over again. The very best part, though, are the cards that came within the box. There are 18 Double-Sided, Full Color, 4×4″ Glossy prints featuring the stars of the movies. Now this is where I get supergeeky: My mom and I have devised a way to make a rotating display to house each of the pics so that both sides can be seen.

Oh, yes. Gimme my trophy now.

UGH! Noooooooooooooo!

My trip is cancelled. *gnash* Just as I resigned myself to going, and even made stellar plans for the two nights I would be there, IT’S CANCELLED. Breathe. Breathe. It’s not cancelled altogether, just for me. Seems they finally realized that Speech Pathologists are not included in classroom-y things. UGH! I told them this fact months ago, but they insisted that I go. Now, on the EVE OF GREATNESS, IT’S CANCELLED! *gnash gnash*

Well, it really is for the best…

I’m so late on the uptake. Apparently, Blood Canticle actually is Anne Rice’s last story of the Vampire Chronicles as well as the Mayfairs. I’m very disappointed in the latter. I also read on MSNBC that NBC is making a miniseries based on The Witching Hour. No comment. Just….no….comment. *sigh*
