R.I.P. Rodney Dangerfield
LOS ANGELES – Rodney Dangerfield, the goggle-eyed comic famed for his self-deprecating one-liners and signature phrase “I can’t get no respect,” died Tuesday at age 82, his spokesman said.
I’m not quite as saddened as I was when Jack Elam passed away, but I am still very moved by this news. *sniff*
Time to rejoice, folks. My email is back! I don’t know what I did, but our ISP is apparently blocking my smtp port. Luckily, my zeromuch.com host provides an alternate port for people like me.
Funny thing, though. I tried that method weeks ago and it didn’t work. I guess the email gods were smiling on me today.
I’ve watched all of SG-1 now, and all I can say is, “Where the heck was I the last seven years?!?” This is so up my ally that I can’t believe I let it slip past me for so long. Then again, I was so full up on Buffy love that I probably wouldn’t have enjoyed as much as I do now.
Lesson learned: Timing is everything.
As some of you know, I adore Halloween. I have always gone over the top in decorating my site for the occasion. Since Ben has already beat me to it, I decided to go with “Just Spooky” this year.
The Wraith are creepy as all hell. They are life-suckers who kind of gliiiiide across a room before singling you out for death. The chick reminded me A LOT of Liv Tyler, who herself (although lovely and talented) looks rather alien at times. I may give in to temptation and go all Frankied out, but for now, This Is Halloween.
My latest addiction, In Touch Weekly has this week’s list of the 10 Sexiest Men of the Season. I agree with almost all of them.

Maybe I’ll make up my own list to compare and contrast….but I think it would read something like, 10. Sean Bean 9. Sean Bean 8. Sean Bean…..you get the picture. However I would like to add one category…Best Fictional Character–Major John Sheppard. *eg*
