Where Was I

I don’t even remember last time I posted or what I said. I’m still too sick to even go back and read it. I’ve been having just a bit of a chest cold, but it’s got me feeling tired and blah. Mom insisted on bringing me some cough medicine (even though I wasn’t coughing) with about 42 different narcotics in it. Well, probably none, but it felt like it. She also brought me two cubes of Diet Mtn. Dew, some tiramisu (YUMMM), cube steak, and $50. What an assortment, eh? That’s my mom, though–covering all the bases :elf:

SGA was awesome again, although Rodney haters won’t see it that way. Torchwood was… Um, Torchwood was…Dang, I can’t remember what it was about. Oh, I remember, it was actually one of my favorite eps so far. Yes, and I can’t remember it quickly. Sums up that show, huh?

A-OK

istar1.jpgIstar’s vet visit went extremely well. There had been some concern because one of his, um, male parts had not descended and they were afraid he would need a more extensive surgery to be neutered. Now, his surgery (December 28) should go smoothly with minimal cutting or pain. He finished his vaccinations and even handled the nosedrops like a champ. (Un)fortunately, he’s been knocked out by the medicine and he has slept most of the last two days. Hobbit must be having sympathy side-effects; she’s slept the last two days, too.

My parents are in Dollywood for their annual Christmas trip. I thought they were due back today, but Scott informed me that they aren’t coming back until Wednesday. Wednesday! You’d think they would notify the child responsible for taking care of their cats of their return date, but you’d be wrong.

I miss Heroes. I don’t want to wait for it to come back. I think I miss it even more than SG-1, though it could be due to the fact that once SG-1 comes back, it’s over–for good. ANTM is finished, Heroes is on winter break, SG-1 has been on Winter Break forever now, TAR finishes tonight…I think I’ll start taping all of the CSI eps on Spike just so I’ll have something to watch.
