Well, I gave it the ol’ college try. I made it through the first 7:32 minutes of Firefly before swearing it off forever. BORING. I had to force myself to keep watching after the first three minutes of blah, but seeing Keller just solidified it for me.

It was my own prejudice, the Bon Jovi music, the cast, and boringness. The episode was the pilot episode “Serenity”. I’ll just leave it to it’s true fans.
Ha, Bon Jovi music. 😆 That wore on me a bit, too, but to me it was more Civil War docuseries soundtrack. But yeah, the first few eps were slow-ish and things didn’t get really fun until you got to know the crew better.
It’s really a genre show. By the time the show got really good, they were already cancelled and it didn’t really matter. (and if Whedon’s name wasn’t attached, you would have never heard of it again)
I was just telling my friend about that.
It’s nearly impossible to find well-informed people in this particular
