Legend of the Seeker
If you asked me if I love this show, I would say LOTS; and that would be both true and clever. Think, think, think about it. Ahh, that’s it. I’ve read just a few bits of fandom’s response to the whole books v. show thing, and overall, the fans seem pleased enough. Apparently they were happy with Denna, but unhappy with the ending of the episode by the same name. I guess that’s how nearly every adaptation works out.

I’m heading to Ben’s town tomorrow, but only for work. We’re expecting a spot of bad weather, so I’m going up and back. My nephew’s birthday is Saturday and because we all went insane at Christmas with presents, there isn’t much left to get him. I was going to shop, but I guess I’ll just sleep in a bit now.

Ooh, speaking of insane, I’m wondering if there’s going to be a mass exodus to insanejournal now that LJ is seemingly on its last legs. I registered today, so if you’re going to make an account, add me. Same name as LJ 😉

    What’s going on with LJ? I saw a few posts mention something about a some layoffs but not that the site was going under. 😮

  2. Lots of people on the communities I’ve seen have backed up their LJ’s and plan to import them to IJ. They offer most of the features of a paid LJ for FREE. As long as I can keep up with my core Flist and get wallpapers, vids, news, etc., I don’t care where it is.

  4. I had a Facebook account for about three months, never went back to it and ended up deleting it when people I had gone to HS with started wanting to add me. I guess I just didn’t get what it was for, other than looking at pictures. Did I miss something?

    Yeah, I’ll always be here, mainly because it’s just been a hobby to play around with the backend of things. I wish I had a really good idea for a site that could make me some moolah!
