Returns

We now return to our regularly scheduled posting.

We’re still three months away from the newest Stargate endeavor, but I’m becoming increasingly interested in SGU. There’s not a singular entity that has my interest (i.e. John Sheppard’s hotness, Jack O’Neill’s snark, Samantha Carter’s hair), rather an overall curiousness as to how the new concept will play out.

Stranded in space, an idea many say is reminiscent of Voyager, is fine with me. A younger, hipper cast is also not a problem for me, especially since the teasers we’ve seen don’t support the theory that the “old” people are just background. The only worry I have is in the casting of the lead actor, Robert Carlyle. I’m not familiar with his work, but he has a sort of bird-like head, a la David Tennant, and I tend to get distracted by that particular trait. Needless to say, I’m petty. I need to have someone to spazz out over, and I hope there will be someone emerge as the “looks” of the show who is not just secondary (like Ronon Dex…more of Ronon and Shep and SGA may have survived).

Nonetheless, I expect I will be posting quite a bit about SGU when it premieres in October.

  1. With the whole thing that appears to be building inside this subject matter, many of your opinions happen to be somewhat refreshing. Having said that, I am sorry, but I can not subscribe to your whole strategy, all be it radical none the less. It looks to us that your commentary are not totally validated and in fact you are yourself not even completely certain of the argument. In any event I did enjoy looking at it.

  2. I do agree with all of the ideas you have presented in your post. They are very convincing and will definitely work. Still, the posts are very short for starters. Could you please extend them a bit from next time? Thanks for the post.

  3. When I initially commented I clicked the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and now each time a comment is added I get four emails with the same comment. Is there any manner you possibly can remove me from that service? Thanks!

  4. You can definitely see your enthusiasm in the work you write. The world hopes for even more passionate writers like you who aren’t afraid to mention how they believe. All the time go after your heart.

  5. Thank you for the sensible critique. Me & my neighbor were just preparing to do a little research on this. We got a grab a book from our local library but I think I learned more from this post. I am very glad to see such great info being shared freely out there.

  6. I’ll right away clutch your rss as I can not to find your email subscription hyperlink or newsletter service. Do you have any? Please let me recognise so that I may subscribe. Thanks.|

  7. Fishing boats are designed to provide the best angling experience. From small bass boats to large offshore vessels, each type has unique features. Many fishing boats come with built-in rod holders, fish finders, and live wells. Choosing the right one depends on where and how you fish. Saltwater fishing requires a durable hull, while freshwater fishing boats can be smaller and more lightweight. A good fishing boat helps you reach the best spots and improve your catch.

  8. Buying a boat is one of the best investments for anyone who loves the water. Whether you’re into fishing, cruising, or water sports, having your own boat gives you freedom and adventure.
