PRODUCT WARNING: Herbal Essences Hair Color
I’ve colored my hair for almost 20 years. During most of those years, I’ve colored it myself. I’ve NEVER had a problem with any product. Oh, sure, I’ve had green, purple, a slightly softer lavender, white, red, black, and most colors in between (all the while looking only for the perfect blonde….). This product, however, has damn near killed me. I got a small drop on my forearm and I think it’s eaten through to the bone. Seriously, my arm is on fire.
All I can say is, it better be a GREAT shade on me.
I know how you feel… though my experience with chemical burns on exposed flesh involved nothing so pleasant as hair dye (try toilet bowl cleaner :cussing:). Anyway, I hope there’s no permanent scarring!
Thanks, Wes. I think I’d gladly suffer my smallish burn, if there had been ANY CHANGE in my hair color. Grrr. No change at all. :evileye:
but maybe after the chemicals eat thru to your brain you’ll THINK you got the shade you wanted. or maybe the fumes produce that effect

I have another cut scheduled for Wednesday, maybe I’ll do some streaks or something after that.
