Fourscore and…

Living in the past again: I added a new feature to my Hobbiton and Vader themes. It’s a nifty little plugin that lists last year’s posts from this week. I think it proves JUST how dorky I am was. Check it out!

Hole In My Heart

Karen has announced that D-t-R.org is shutting down. Back when I was on Homestead, I marveled over how she was able to leap into having a *real* site so effortlessly. When she started using Movable Type, I was flabbergasted. When she started writing fanfic, I was spellbound. When she shared her fanart, I all but idolized her. When she tried to teach me the basics of having a site, such as ftp and hosting, I was in awe.

I still am.

Interjections!

The First Annual Big Creek High School Arts Festival was held today. Ashley and I made the hour and a half drive to where I work to check it out. We missed the “musical” component, as it was held early this morning. We were, however, able to peruse the visual art presented by the students. I gotta say, some of those kids are mega-talented. Next up, and the main event, was the WV Theater Group’s presentation of Schoolhouse Rock. It was very entertaining, and I was glad I could remember the words to “I’m Just a Bill,” “Interjections!,” and “Conjunction Junction.” There were several more numbers, but they’re either new or I just don’t remember them.
