Ya think?!?!?

Thank you for applying for the position of Supervisor, Healthcare Contract Loading (Greensboro, NC)-114253. After careful consideration of your application, we wanted to inform you that we have selected another candidate for this position.

Let’s see…my crappy phone interview was in July. I guess they thought I was so dumb that I didn’t figure out that I didn’t get the job in the nearly four months that have passed. Sheesh!

The Joe Schmo Show wraps up tonight, which is good. It’s a two hour show, which is bad. I have to 1) stay up late and 2) miss The Real World. I wonder if I can catch RW on MTV this weekend? heh

The rest of yesterday’s post…and more!

To finish off this weekend’s update, I’ll let you know that I have Champagne Bliss haircolor. It’s the same color I used last time, but it was time to touch it up. I bought the coolest sweater, and hopefully you’ll get to see it either in person or online. I think that finishes the weekend part.

This morning, my mom gave me a muscle relaxer for my leg. I told her that it was a nerve problem, not a muscle, but she gave it, and I took it anyway. About an hour after I took it, I felt a little nauseated. At around 8am, I was sitting in the parking lot of the school that I do therapy in on Mondays. I rested my head on the headrest for a moment to allow the feeling to pass. Next thing I knew, I woke up and it was 11:30am. I had slept in my car for over three hours! GAH! Not to mention the trouble I could have been in if anyone knew. I’m still crossing my fingers that no one saw me, or missed me inside…GAH!

Monster House is on right now, and they’re making a Fright House. I don’t think this is going to be one of their best designs, but we’ll see. A little later, I get to watch RW/RR Challenge: The Gauntlet. Whoo!

Be careful what you wish for…

l was wanted this weekend. I was needed this weekend. It wasn’t exactly the way I fantasize about, but it was nice. My mom was having a rough time of it, and I could tell she wanted me to spend some time with her this weekend. Todd and Coley had a full plate, and I didn’t really need anything from my apartment urgently, so I stayed home.

Ooh…Ben’s on the phone…laters!!

Of firewalls and comments

Okay, guys, here’s the story. I am working for a school system. We have firewalls that protect the children from harmful internet content. That’s a good thing, I suppose. What is absolutely NOT a good thing, is that it also blocks my access to Karen’s sites. That’s right. D-t-R is one of the sites I can’t get to from work. Not because of her content, just because for some reason, the firewall blocks it. This also means that I couldn’t access my “Comments” feature from work. Grrr.

Soooo, what I’m trying to say is this: Try out the new comments I added (idea from Shrubbery)! Just after each entry, you’ll see the clickable prompt. So go ahead, HAUNT ME! It’s supereasy to do. I promise.

And whatever you do, remember that Karen is still the number one web guru out there, and her sites ROCK!
