What is it with my friends?!? You guys need more sleep *nods* This morning, just after 7am, Dwayne called me, bored. Now I value being a good friend above all else, but SHEESH! There’s something about “7am” that just seems too early. Even 7:59am seems a long way from 8:00am. I don’t know….

I applied for about 6 or 7 more jobs online. Why do employers NOT want contact with people anymore? I would be more than happy to hit the pavement, but the hiring gods won’t even give you the name of the company half the time, and they certainly won’t tell you where it is.

Oh well……muffins, coffee, smokes, and television for me today!

After dragging myself out of the “dark place,” I had a wonderful conversation with my mom that went something like this:

Me: Well, if I move up there and take that job, I’ll still have to pay rent here for at least 60 days. I can use this as kind of a “weekend house.”

Mom: No, you’ll have the utilities turned off and you won’t need to go there.

Me: (sobbing) OK then. I’m uh, going to go get something to eat. I’ll *sniff* call you later.

This is my life, folks. I immediately turn into a snivelling eleven year old whenever my family confronts me on anything. Is this a life worth living?!?

I’ll tell you right now. I absolutely, positively love me some Karen. Once again, she has hooked me up with something computer-related. This time it’s a new browser. It has a pop-up blocker built in, which again shows how perfect her timing is. Just this morning, I had to uninstall my ZeroAds because it kept shutting everything down. So, yes, Karen is an angel.
