Me again. Oh yeah

Talk about big brother. I just got my license. It’s the same number as the one I first received when I was 16 years old. They knew everything about me, driving-wise. They knew I had gone to FL, gotten tickets in NC, and everything. Yikes!

I also registered to vote. I missed the last election because I didn’t have my DL taken care of, but that’s ok. I registered Republican (of course), but in this state, you almost have to be a Dem to vote in the primaries. Oh well. I really wish there was a category called “Republican: Financial, only. Non-Christian. Liberal as they come otherwise” That would be teh awesome. I wish Dems and other liberals had the sense to realize that not all Republicans are stuffy, church types. Again, oh well.

Also, all of my organs are up for grabs. Get ’em while the gettin’s good :clown:

“E” that’s an “E”

I’m off to beg the state of WV to issue me a driver’s license since my Florida license expires Thursday. Yes, I know I haven’t lived in Florida for *counts fingers* 6 years, but damn, I wanted to get my money’s worth out of that one. If all goes well, I’ll have to take only the vision test, which I should be able to pass now that eye seems to be healed. I also have to get the oil changed in Anduril, but they said I could come in at any time.

I love that Belgian

Death on the NileDeath on the Nile, one of my favorite Agatha Christie stories, was on tv when I woke up today. This may be a great weekend yet. It started off with a visit from Ben, who brought me a gorgeous Audrey Hepburn calendar. :thud: We had our usual mexican and then wrapped up the evening by watching a coupla few SGA eps. *swoon*

I’m wishing all kinds of good luck to Todd and Cole today. Here’s hoping for even more great news in the future for those two

Sing us song

I wasn’t joking when I said work was kicking my behind. It still is. However, I had the opportunity to slip into the past today. On the way home, I turned on the radio and heard Piano Man by Billy Joel. This song reminds me of the last time I was in love–really in love. We used to go to a place and watch a coworker who moonlighted as a piano man, and it was just a really good time in my life. *sigh* At least I have Bean and my tv shows to satisfy me now.
