Weekend

In a nutshell, I got involved in wank. I’m so ashamed of myself, but at least it was for a good cause. And anonymous….heh. I’ve almost finished re(x5)reading GOF. With all of the movie news leaking out, I’ve found myself wanting to get back to the basics. The Phelps twins are looking terrific in the set pics, and I hope they have more prominent roles in the 4th movie. Spoilery info
The Dursleys have been cut out entirely which is sad, but old, news. The weighing of the wands has been cut, and this means no Mr. Ollivander. That is sad news on many levels. The continuity could use a boost, especially after the dark, dank feel of POA. There are a few more script nuggets to be found at Mugglenet, if you need more.

The Marriott just called to tell me they found my clothes. They’re shipping them to me…FREE of charge! Yippee!

My sweet brother said they better overnight ship my clothes, since my “date shirt” was one of the items left behind. Because, you know, I do much dating…pfft!

I’m back!

I was gone for only three days, but it felt like an eternity. Traveling from here to Baltimore to Pittsburgh and back will do that to you. Friday night we did the celebrity round at Horrorfind. I got Irwin Keys‘ autograph which made me very happy. I also ran into Kuzibah (sans Grim who was inside the PACKED conference room) from the BC&S…WHOO!! It was great to see her again and I got more info about Homecoming 2005! After trying everything I could think of to get Todd and Cole’s number to wish her a Happy Birthday Saturday, we drove down to Washington DC and proceeded to be lost for 4 hours. They really should do something about that. We left Baltimore (and my clothes in Baltimore) Sunday for the Monroeville Mall and Evans City Cemetery. These were locations that were used in a couple of the Romero movies. After much fun in PA, we came home today. I’m so tired I could sleep for a day, so if I’m rambling, that’s why.
