ROTK reverence

I arrived home from the theater at approximately 3:30am. I couldn’t sleep. When I did sleep, I actually dreamt of Aragorn. That never happens to me, the whole dreaming of something that I was thinking about as I fell asleep. It’s that impressive.

Non-spoilery

The best points: The kiss; Sam; Legolas’ facial expressions; Faramir’s courage; Gandalf’s ass kicking abilities

The “I wish they had…” points: More Aragorn; more Aragorn; more Aragorn; The Scouring of the Shire (which would have made it a 4 hour movie, alas)

All said, I can’t WAIT to see it again.

Midnight tickets!

Whoo HOO!!! I got midnight tickets for LOTR: ROTK!! I had to stand in line for an hour in the blistering wind, but I got ’em! When I got mine, they only had 30 more left, so I’m glad my dad woke me up to go. *hugs Dad*

lalala….me and Ben…lalala…..we got in….

Green green green…

…and NOT in an environmental way. I am sooo jealous of Ben. He gets to see ROTK tomorrow at midnight. Grrrrr! Those are my men, dammit!

[Edit: I only have to wait until 11:45am on Wednesday! *cough cough* “Hello, work? I’M SICK!” ]

So, um, yeah.

Looks like my winter holiday will be spent job hunting far away from where I am. I’ve already applied for five jobs (none of which I’ll get, but what can ya do?) and intend to really apply myself (pun intended) in a new search. It’s. that. bad.
