Day O’ Fun

So much happened, let’s see. Ben and Jesse got here for Ben’s Birthday Weekend Celebration. They brought me a gift bag from Ben’s party. It had cool Vader stickers, Vader and Obi-Wan finger puppets, two glow balls, a suction ball, and some fireworky things. Yay! We watched some vids and headed out for Mexican food. After having my (as always) yummy favorite food, we went to the mall to look for cool toys. I didn’t find any, but I found a 12″ Gandalf like mine to get as an extra gift for Ben. Oh, and I got him a Wookie puzzle, too. 😛 At Borders Express I got a SW magazine with lots of Anakin, so I was veeeery pleased.

We came back home and watched the end of LXG ,and then the original Stargate was on, so we watched that as well. I finished burning the rest of LOST for them (and one for me) and that was about it. They left and hopefully found some food for Jesse to eat, since he still had a snack card left.

Hustle!

While I didn’t think Kung Fu Hustle would be my kind of thing, I wasn’t dreading seeing it. , , some of their friends, and I went to see it last night. It was soooo good. I honestly loved it and can’t wait to show it to my dad. He’s going to flip. Two very enthusiastic thumbs up.

Today, Ben, Jesse, and I started out with IHOP for breakfast and then hit HomeGoods, Pier One, Target, Kohl’s, and Goody’s for cheap–yet chic–homewares and Spring clothes. We all scored. My new clothes picked out by Clinton and Stacy Ben and Jesse are all fab. They’re bright and colorful and fit wonderfully. Thanks, guys!

I had a terrific time and now I think I’m going to get caught up on the many vids I need to watch.

This is going to be a very brief update. I am so sleepy that I can barely stay awake long enough to type two sentences. Went to Charleston to see Ben and meet his Jesse yesterday. They’re just about the perfect blend of similar/different in almost every way. I give it my full approval. 😉 After having Mexican, we went to the Dead Mall where I found a TTT Boromir, Captain of Gondor figure that I just :love::love::love:. I bought Hobbit a bunch of new toys and myself some jeans, magazines, and more Boromir toys in the form of AoME. We had Pizza Hut for dinner and then took the Entertainment Weekly trivia quizzes for Star Wars and general knowledge. Damn, we’re really smart. 😯 I’m sure I’ll have much more to say later, but for now, it’s naptime for me and Da Hob.
