If casting directors need to know how to do it they should call the Fringe crew. Hot on the heels of the single best “child actor” episode I’ve ever seen comes news that William Bell has been cast. Leonard Nimoy. Holy wow!

“Inner Child” was one of my favorite episodes yet. Though there was less screen time for Peter, and Walter too for that matter, I thought the performance turned out by the baby Observer was absolute perfection. Without saying a word, he gave us more than a lot of Emmy winners past. I really love this show. That last scene, in the car? Shivers. The good kind.

I’m also excited about the debut of RW/RR Challenge: Duel II that starts tonight. The last one was boring and too outside the box, but this one has a LOT of my favorite competitors from previous challenges and promises to have quite a bit of action. I’m not sure how much I like the one hour format rather than a longer season of 1/2 hour shows, but I know this: I’m not watching Model until tomorrow so I can watch this one first run!
