There’s No Mekhi Phifer

Ugh.

Looks like it’s that time of year again…the time when I feel a little tinge of loneliness; when I look around and realize there really *is* no Mekhi Phifer. Or anyone else for that matter. I’m completely to blame, of course, but still…meh. Fortunately, my hermit-ish tendencies will likely kick in again soon, but for now, I’ve got Eminem stuck in my head.

Politics? No thanks!

I don’t have much to say about the election. I wanted Bush to win, and as of right now, it appears he did. I am, however, sickened to my core with the states that passed marriage referendums, bans on gay marriage, or however they each worded it. Sickened. Did I mention sickened? It sill amazes me that grown consenting Americans are told that they cannot be married if they choose. Marriage in general should be banned. Pfft!

[Edit: Politics aside, I’m listening to Eminem’s new album and falling in love all over again–and that makes me happy.]
