Now that the end is near, I ask myself, “Am I ready to put aside my hatred and watch this show?” I hated Farscape until well after it ended, then gave it a shot and ended up loving it (a little). However, Farscape had two things going for it that BSG does not: humor and Muppets.
I can’t help but wonder if I’d be better off just reading all about BSG on WikiPedia (another peevish thing of mine),
I hate it and I hate that it’s such a fraking great show. 😡 It’s like first season of LOST good but every episode. And I hate it. :nonono:
The only way I was able to get into it was to skip the first several episodes and watched a marathon of the 2nd half of season 1. That way there was lots of intriguing politics and mysteries to distract from the reasons I swore I’d never watch it. It can be a bit intense and over the top with the drama but there are a few bits of funny from time to time.
And there’s plenty of hotness. Give it a shot, it’s really great, the bastards. :cussing:
I really liked the original BSG. Never got into this version of it however.
Trench, same here. I watched the first ten minutes of the pre-show miniseries and couldn’t take it. I just missed the original and didn’t handle the changes too well.
I think I’ll give it a try, just not yet. I’ll wait for it to finish then marathon it.
