Crusoe Review

Crusoe wrapped up its 13 Episode run last night. For a show I watched only to get glimpses of Sean Bean (which sadly totaled less than 5 minutes), I have to give it an overall favorable review. Oddly enough, minus the acting of Sam Neill (touted as the biggest named star onboard), the performances were satisfying. Crusoe and Friday faced pretty much the same adventures week after week, but they were so likable that I still enjoyed watching. The location shoots really paid off, as this has to be one of my highest rated production sets ever. Everything from the island shots to the treehouse setting was spectacular.

The finale left the door open for more adventures, but I haven’t heard that there was any intention of continuing the story past the 13 episodes. I wouldn’t mind seeing one more arc, but I also wouldn’t mind appreciating this show for what is was: an adventure show, suitable for all ages, with a great cast, and a few Bean moments.

  1. A friend in Sacramento warned me about overpaying for HVAC Repair work. Glad I called Sacramento Precision HVAC Repair — their pricing was transparent and competitive. The technician even showed me how to prevent future issues. hvac repair 24 7

  2. Matching personality type with the right environment—quiet vs. very social, urban vs. suburban—is often overlooked. I liked reading resident stories on respite care that illustrated how different people found the right fit.

  3. Your explanation makes it clear that Independent Living is more like a retirement community, while Nursing Homes are more clinical. That’s consistent with what I’ve read on assisted living when comparing different senior housing models.

  4. For anyone unsure about the differences in daily routines—meals, medication help, housekeeping—between each level, I recommend checking schedules and service lists. I saw useful examples on senior care that mirrored what you describe here.

  5. It’s often the little things—like help with buttoning a shirt or setting up a shower—that are forgotten in big facilities. In small homes, those details get more attention. elderly care seems to understand this.
