Crusoe Review

Crusoe wrapped up its 13 Episode run last night. For a show I watched only to get glimpses of Sean Bean (which sadly totaled less than 5 minutes), I have to give it an overall favorable review. Oddly enough, minus the acting of Sam Neill (touted as the biggest named star onboard), the performances were satisfying. Crusoe and Friday faced pretty much the same adventures week after week, but they were so likable that I still enjoyed watching. The location shoots really paid off, as this has to be one of my highest rated production sets ever. Everything from the island shots to the treehouse setting was spectacular.

The finale left the door open for more adventures, but I haven’t heard that there was any intention of continuing the story past the 13 episodes. I wouldn’t mind seeing one more arc, but I also wouldn’t mind appreciating this show for what is was: an adventure show, suitable for all ages, with a great cast, and a few Bean moments.

  1. With fewer residents, there’s more opportunity to gently coach seniors through tasks rather than just doing everything for them. This coaching model, described on respite care , keeps skills from fading too quickly.

  2. I have actually never seen much more lovely building steel job until I discovered these projects– really motivating workmanship. For any individual curious about premium customized steel styles, look into gabled dormers for even more information.

  3. I like that you mention pet policies as a factor. For some seniors, staying with a pet can be a major source of comfort. When we searched on respite care , we filtered for pet-friendly Independent and Assisted Living communities.

  4. The point you made about staffing levels in Nursing Homes versus Assisted Living is key. More medical staff means higher care but also a different environment. I used senior care to look deeper into typical staffing ratios in each type.

  5. I didn’t know that some Assisted Living communities now offer memory care units, while Nursing Homes traditionally handle more advanced medical issues. I first read about this evolving model on respite care during my research.
