Crusoe Review

Crusoe wrapped up its 13 Episode run last night. For a show I watched only to get glimpses of Sean Bean (which sadly totaled less than 5 minutes), I have to give it an overall favorable review. Oddly enough, minus the acting of Sam Neill (touted as the biggest named star onboard), the performances were satisfying. Crusoe and Friday faced pretty much the same adventures week after week, but they were so likable that I still enjoyed watching. The location shoots really paid off, as this has to be one of my highest rated production sets ever. Everything from the island shots to the treehouse setting was spectacular.

The finale left the door open for more adventures, but I haven’t heard that there was any intention of continuing the story past the 13 episodes. I wouldn’t mind seeing one more arc, but I also wouldn’t mind appreciating this show for what is was: an adventure show, suitable for all ages, with a great cast, and a few Bean moments.

  1. Transportation options—shuttles to appointments, shopping trips, etc.—can really affect independence. I saw transportation services listed clearly in many community profiles on senior care , which helped us narrow our choices.

  2. Smaller senior care homes really seem to offer more personalized attention with daily tasks like bathing, dressing, and meal prep. It feels much more human and less institutional. I’d definitely consider a place like senior care for a loved one.

  3. For those of us caring for someone with mild cognitive decline, knowing when Assisted Living is still appropriate versus when a Nursing Home is needed is critical. I read some helpful guidelines on senior care that align with your points.

  4. I recently had a pest issue in my home, and I was amazed by how effective the Puyallup Exterminator service was! They identified the problem quickly and implemented a comprehensive plan to eliminate the pests Pest Control
