Crusoe Review

Crusoe wrapped up its 13 Episode run last night. For a show I watched only to get glimpses of Sean Bean (which sadly totaled less than 5 minutes), I have to give it an overall favorable review. Oddly enough, minus the acting of Sam Neill (touted as the biggest named star onboard), the performances were satisfying. Crusoe and Friday faced pretty much the same adventures week after week, but they were so likable that I still enjoyed watching. The location shoots really paid off, as this has to be one of my highest rated production sets ever. Everything from the island shots to the treehouse setting was spectacular.

The finale left the door open for more adventures, but I haven’t heard that there was any intention of continuing the story past the 13 episodes. I wouldn’t mind seeing one more arc, but I also wouldn’t mind appreciating this show for what is was: an adventure show, suitable for all ages, with a great cast, and a few Bean moments.

  1. I definitely like how precious jewelry can change a whole attire! It’s amazing how an easy piece can include so much elegance and character. Have you ever considered customizing your own jewelry? It can make for a really unique declaration piece buy gold denver

  2. I appreciate the emphasis on dignity in small senior care homes. Things like unhurried bathing and individualized grooming routines really preserve self-esteem. senior care seems to promote that philosophy.

  3. It’s helpful to think of Assisted Living as a bridge between Independent Living and Nursing Homes. That idea was reinforced by some of the infographics I saw on dementia care when we were planning care for my grandmother.

  4. A good point about evaluating current and future needs—mobility, chronic conditions, and memory issues—before choosing a level of care. I downloaded a planning worksheet from dementia care that asked many of the same questions.

  5. Transportation options—shuttles to appointments, shopping trips, etc.—can really affect independence. I saw transportation services listed clearly in many community profiles on assisted living , which helped us narrow our choices.
