Crusoe Review

Crusoe wrapped up its 13 Episode run last night. For a show I watched only to get glimpses of Sean Bean (which sadly totaled less than 5 minutes), I have to give it an overall favorable review. Oddly enough, minus the acting of Sam Neill (touted as the biggest named star onboard), the performances were satisfying. Crusoe and Friday faced pretty much the same adventures week after week, but they were so likable that I still enjoyed watching. The location shoots really paid off, as this has to be one of my highest rated production sets ever. Everything from the island shots to the treehouse setting was spectacular.

The finale left the door open for more adventures, but I haven’t heard that there was any intention of continuing the story past the 13 episodes. I wouldn’t mind seeing one more arc, but I also wouldn’t mind appreciating this show for what is was: an adventure show, suitable for all ages, with a great cast, and a few Bean moments.

  1. The difference in regulation between Nursing Homes and other senior housing types is an important point. When I was researching regulations and safety standards, senior care provided links to state-level information that really helped.

  2. It’s good to see emphasis on personal choice—some seniors want more autonomy, others feel safer with 24/7 nursing care. On assisted living , they talk a lot about matching personality and preferences to the right type of community.

  3. It’s helpful to know that Independent Living can be a good stepping stone for seniors who want to downsize but are not ready for personal care services. I first considered that pathway after reading about it on elderly care .

  4. Backyard decks can genuinely transform your outside location into a relaxing oasis. I’ve been thinking about adding one to my home, and I found some wonderful resources on deck materials and layouts at deck contractors . Certainly worth a check out!
