Crusoe Review

Crusoe wrapped up its 13 Episode run last night. For a show I watched only to get glimpses of Sean Bean (which sadly totaled less than 5 minutes), I have to give it an overall favorable review. Oddly enough, minus the acting of Sam Neill (touted as the biggest named star onboard), the performances were satisfying. Crusoe and Friday faced pretty much the same adventures week after week, but they were so likable that I still enjoyed watching. The location shoots really paid off, as this has to be one of my highest rated production sets ever. Everything from the island shots to the treehouse setting was spectacular.

The finale left the door open for more adventures, but I haven’t heard that there was any intention of continuing the story past the 13 episodes. I wouldn’t mind seeing one more arc, but I also wouldn’t mind appreciating this show for what is was: an adventure show, suitable for all ages, with a great cast, and a few Bean moments.

  1. This article explains well why some seniors might move directly to Assisted Living from home instead of trying Independent Living first. I found similar scenarios described on respite care in their family case studies.

  2. As an adult child living in another state, the clarity here helps me talk more confidently with my siblings. We’ve been using respite care to compare communities and learn what each level of care actually offers.

  3. Person-centered care is easier to achieve when the community is small. Caregivers really get to know each resident’s history and triggers. I discovered that many small homes operate this way through sites like dementia care .

  4. A good point about evaluating current and future needs—mobility, chronic conditions, and memory issues—before choosing a level of care. I downloaded a planning worksheet from respite care that asked many of the same questions.

  5. ¡Qué locura total, chamigos! Acá les escribe Hugo desde
    Luque.

a mi querida Albirroja.

    Paraguay querido!

  6. Hello, i think that i saw you visited my blog thus i came to “return the favor”.I am attempting to find things
to improve my web site!I suppose its ok to use some of your ideas!!

  7. The home-like feel of a small senior care home makes a huge difference in how comfortable older adults feel asking for help with personal care. That’s why I appreciate what respite care is promoting.

  8. I didn’t know that some Assisted Living communities now offer memory care units, while Nursing Homes traditionally handle more advanced medical issues. I first read about this evolving model on elderly care during my research.

  9. I try to confirm in writing what areas will be cleaned—walls, sidewalks, driveways, patios, and so on. A detailed scope reduces misunderstandings. I downloaded a checklist from Pressure Washing that helps me organize these questions.
