Anyway, I emailed 1and1 several times and received such ridiculous responses (one actually said that after a refresh, my site was working again…LIAR) that I finally decided that they can’t understand English at all. I finally got the transfer to go through after losing a week’s worth of accessibility and my Google status. I am going to move all my domains from 1and1 and never look back. I had five good years of hosting with them, but lately, their service, as well as their customer service has been so poor that I’d rather pay a little more and be happy.
