Yes, I will preface this by saying that I HATE the HP movies. In fact, I hate PoA more than any other movie ever made. I have mentioned it on this site and others and don’t really want to compound what I’m about to say with the acrid remarks I reserve solely for that film.
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, while not my favorite novel, is still one of the best of the series. The MAJOR developments and MAJOR history we need to know are all right there in the book. Certainly the movie will give us the information we need to know, right? NO. I watched the first twenty minutes or so of the film, became utterly disgusted and quit it for good.
My thoughts were something like this: That didn’t happen. That isn’t what happened, THAT makes NO sense, OMFG, WHAT?!? Oh, I see Hermione still has constipation face (seriously, Emma Watson is gorgeous, but her portrayal of Hermione makes me want to avoid cheese at all costs…they should spike her pumpkin juice with castor oil), OMG, no, just no no no no no no. :evileye: Thanks to Cleolinda Jones’
