The new season of Doctor Who began today with a very triumphant debut of the Eleventh Doctor. There is a definite shift in tone from the previous series (or non-series as it was), and I think this is exactly the episode to reset with. The introduction of Amy Pond was the best companion beginning yet, and I already love her. The rest of the plot didn’t really blow my mind, but the nod to the previous Doctors was glorious and brought out an actual cheer. I think Eleven is a very capable incarnation and I look forward to seeing him in action week after week.
I’m already re-watching because I let a lot of information slip past me the first time. I also want to compile a list of “clues” to watch for as the series progresses because I think there will be quite the payoff with this writing team. For instance, there is a blue lens flare that lingers for a considerable amount of time when there is no known source of light for that scene. Hmmmm. I’m also curious about the possible significance of the “Myth” laptop. Each of those things may be inconsequential, of course, or they could be related to the coming Silence. Who knows?
Who knows, indeed!! *ahem*
I honestly think chasing Sesko for that £74m price tag is a massive gamble for United right now. We need someone who is already the finished article instead of another project player man united summer 2026 transfer targets

I love Keano’s passion, but bringing him back feels like a massive gamble given he hasn’t managed a club since 2011. Personally, I’d rather stick with Carrick Ineos Man Utd manager shortlist
Honestly, I’m with Keane on this one. The standards have slipped way too far, and we need someone who isn’t afraid to call players out United caretaker to permanent

Honestly, bringing Hojlund back now feels like a huge mistake. We need to let him develop properly in Italy instead of throwing him into this current chaos. Rushing him back just to satisfy a clause or fix our attack quickly will only stall his progress Continue reading

I agree with Sheringham here. It’s way too early to write Rasmus off. People love mentioning that £38m fee, but he’s still so young and raw. Given the obligation-to-buy clause, we’re clearly committed to him long-term Man Utd transfer news January 2026

A clean slate is exactly what this squad needs after such a disjointed season. I have always been a fan of Carrick’s tactical approach and his calm demeanour on the touchline, as he clearly commands respect from the players https://numberfields.asu.edu/NumberFields/show_user.php?userid=6602501
It’s great to see Marcus getting a clean slate, but I’m still worried about the tactical direction United tactics impact

Sheringham is spot on about the privilege of managing United, even if it is a massive challenge right now. That Carrick bounce after the City win really shifted the mood, but heading to Arsenal is a different beast entirely https://www.instapaper.com/read/1996027367
