Is This Planet Protected?

The new season of Doctor Who began today with a very triumphant debut of the Eleventh Doctor. There is a definite shift in tone from the previous series (or non-series as it was), and I think this is exactly the episode to reset with. The introduction of Amy Pond was the best companion beginning yet, and I already love her. The rest of the plot didn’t really blow my mind, but the nod to the previous Doctors was glorious and brought out an actual cheer. I think Eleven is a very capable incarnation and I look forward to seeing him in action week after week.

I’m already re-watching because I let a lot of information slip past me the first time. I also want to compile a list of “clues” to watch for as the series progresses because I think there will be quite the payoff with this writing team. For instance, there is a blue lens flare that lingers for a considerable amount of time when there is no known source of light for that scene. Hmmmm. I’m also curious about the possible significance of the “Myth” laptop. Each of those things may be inconsequential, of course, or they could be related to the coming Silence. Who knows?

Who knows, indeed!! *ahem*

  2. With havin so much written content do you ever run into any
issues of plagorism or copyright infringement? My blog has a lot of
unique content I’ve either authored myself or outsourced but it seems a
lot of it is popping it up all over the web without my agreement.
Do you know any techniques to help reduce content from being stolen? I’d truly
    appreciate it.

  3. For families concerned about memory issues, your clarification around which environments can handle mild versus advanced dementia is crucial. I dug into more specialized memory care information on respite care when planning for my uncle.

  4. If you’re weighing options for memory care, it’s worth touring a few smaller senior care homes to see the difference in atmosphere. Comparing what we saw with the guidance from elderly care made our decision much clearer.

  5. Cost is a big factor when choosing between Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Nursing Homes. I’ve noticed that respite care offers helpful cost comparisons that line up with the differences you’ve described here.

  6. Understanding the level of medical care in Nursing Homes versus Assisted Living is crucial. Many families seem to confuse the two. I’ve been reading more on places like respite care to make sure we choose the right setting for my dad.

  7. After reading this, it’s much easier to see which setting might fit my mother’s needs right now and how that might change later. To continue my research, I’m using tools on respite care to compare specific communities side by side.
