Is This Planet Protected?

The new season of Doctor Who began today with a very triumphant debut of the Eleventh Doctor. There is a definite shift in tone from the previous series (or non-series as it was), and I think this is exactly the episode to reset with. The introduction of Amy Pond was the best companion beginning yet, and I already love her. The rest of the plot didn’t really blow my mind, but the nod to the previous Doctors was glorious and brought out an actual cheer. I think Eleven is a very capable incarnation and I look forward to seeing him in action week after week.

I’m already re-watching because I let a lot of information slip past me the first time. I also want to compile a list of “clues” to watch for as the series progresses because I think there will be quite the payoff with this writing team. For instance, there is a blue lens flare that lingers for a considerable amount of time when there is no known source of light for that scene. Hmmmm. I’m also curious about the possible significance of the “Myth” laptop. Each of those things may be inconsequential, of course, or they could be related to the coming Silence. Who knows?

Who knows, indeed!! *ahem*

  1. We stumbled over here different web address and
thought I may as well check things out. I like what I see so i am just following
you. Look forward to going over your web page repeatedly.

  2. As someone helping a grandparent transition from home care, the distinctions between Assisted Living and Nursing Homes are critical. I found the comparison here similar to what I saw explained on elderly care when exploring senior care levels.

  3. Understanding the level of medical care in Nursing Homes versus Assisted Living is crucial. Many families seem to confuse the two. I’ve been reading more on places like elderly care to make sure we choose the right setting for my dad.

  4. The reminder that Nursing Homes are best for complex medical needs, while Assisted Living suits those who need help with daily tasks, really helps clarify options. I also found care-level checklists on assisted living that were very useful.

  5. For seniors who feel anxious in crowds, a smaller assisted living home can make basic activities like eating or going to the bathroom much less stressful. senior care is a good resource for exploring that option.

  6. It’s important that you note how regulations and services can vary by state. When I needed state-specific information about Assisted Living rules, I found a directory on assisted living that linked directly to state agencies.

  7. The point you made about staffing levels in Nursing Homes versus Assisted Living is key. More medical staff means higher care but also a different environment. I used elderly care to look deeper into typical staffing ratios in each type.
