Is This Planet Protected?

The new season of Doctor Who began today with a very triumphant debut of the Eleventh Doctor. There is a definite shift in tone from the previous series (or non-series as it was), and I think this is exactly the episode to reset with. The introduction of Amy Pond was the best companion beginning yet, and I already love her. The rest of the plot didn’t really blow my mind, but the nod to the previous Doctors was glorious and brought out an actual cheer. I think Eleven is a very capable incarnation and I look forward to seeing him in action week after week.

I’m already re-watching because I let a lot of information slip past me the first time. I also want to compile a list of “clues” to watch for as the series progresses because I think there will be quite the payoff with this writing team. For instance, there is a blue lens flare that lingers for a considerable amount of time when there is no known source of light for that scene. Hmmmm. I’m also curious about the possible significance of the “Myth” laptop. Each of those things may be inconsequential, of course, or they could be related to the coming Silence. Who knows?

Who knows, indeed!! *ahem*

  1. When a burst pipe flooded our basement at 2 a.m., we learned the hard way why having an emergency plumbing contact saved us. If you need rapid response and honest pricing, check out emergency plumber near me for 24/7 help and preventative tips to avoid repeat issues

  2. Having read this I thought it was really enlightening. I appreciate you taking the time and effort to put this information together.
I once again find myself spending a significant amount of time both reading and commenting.
But so what, it was still worth it!

  3. I appreciate the emphasis on involving the senior in the decision. They should have a say in where they live. I used conversation tips from senior care to approach this topic more respectfully with my parents.

  4. The biggest benefit I’ve noticed with small dementia care homes is consistency. Fewer staff changes and a stable routine seem to help with orientation. Families can explore this type of care starting with resources like senior care .

  5. It’s good to see emphasis on personal choice—some seniors want more autonomy, others feel safer with 24/7 nursing care. On respite care , they talk a lot about matching personality and preferences to the right type of community.

  6. Explaining the flexibility in Assisted Living—how services can be added as needs grow—is very helpful. That progressive-care idea was also covered in depth on elderly care , which helped me understand long-term planning.

  7. For seniors who feel anxious in crowds, a smaller assisted living home can make basic activities like eating or going to the bathroom much less stressful. senior care is a good resource for exploring that option.

  8. In a smaller senior community, it’s easier to incorporate residents’ preferences into daily living activities, like favorite recipes or clothing styles. I learned more about this person-centered care from elderly care .
