Is This Planet Protected?

The new season of Doctor Who began today with a very triumphant debut of the Eleventh Doctor. There is a definite shift in tone from the previous series (or non-series as it was), and I think this is exactly the episode to reset with. The introduction of Amy Pond was the best companion beginning yet, and I already love her. The rest of the plot didn’t really blow my mind, but the nod to the previous Doctors was glorious and brought out an actual cheer. I think Eleven is a very capable incarnation and I look forward to seeing him in action week after week.

I’m already re-watching because I let a lot of information slip past me the first time. I also want to compile a list of “clues” to watch for as the series progresses because I think there will be quite the payoff with this writing team. For instance, there is a blue lens flare that lingers for a considerable amount of time when there is no known source of light for that scene. Hmmmm. I’m also curious about the possible significance of the “Myth” laptop. Each of those things may be inconsequential, of course, or they could be related to the coming Silence. Who knows?

Who knows, indeed!! *ahem*

  1. The point you made about staffing levels in Nursing Homes versus Assisted Living is key. More medical staff means higher care but also a different environment. I used respite care to look deeper into typical staffing ratios in each type.

  3. I like that you touched on how much personal care is available in Assisted Living versus a Nursing Home. That impacts dignity and independence. For anyone unsure which is right, elderly care has helpful decision guides.

  4. Hello outstanding website! Does running a blog such as this take a massive amount work?

I’ve no knowledge of coding but I had been hoping
to start my own blog in the near future. Anyway, should you have any recommendations or techniques for new blog owners please share.
I know this is off topic but I simply had to ask.
    Appreciate it!

  5. Oh my goodness! Impressive article dude!

Thanks, However I am experiencing issues with your RSS.
I don’t understand why I cannot subscribe to it. Is there anybody having similar RSS problems?

Anybody who knows the solution will you kindly respond?
    Thanx!!

  6. A lot of families don’t realize that Nursing Homes are more medically focused, while Assisted Living emphasizes daily assistance. I’ve been using resources like assisted living to guide conversations with my siblings about our mom’s care.

  7. Less noise and chaos in smaller senior homes can mean less confusion and agitation, especially for people with cognitive decline. That makes ADL support smoother. I learned a lot from elderly care about this topic.
