In house news, I bought the insulation and GFC receptacles for the house and they’re going in tomorrow. That is the one thing I’m not upset with. I’m getting the appraiser to come back early next week and then we can set closing. I can’t wait to have my own house. Really, my OWN house. Wow. RL is otherwise atrocious. I’m sick of drama, whining, lying, etc. Just quit it, already. Ugh.

The appraisal from the house came in…I got it! We have to change the outlets around the sinks to ground fault switches due to the huge number of people who electrocute themselves by um, throwing water in them? We also have to upgrade the insulation in the floor from F-11 to F-19. Yeah. You heard me correctly.
Anyway, as soon as those things are done, it’s just a matter of time before it’s all mine! 😉
It took almost two hours, but I got my loan application submitted today. Well, I have to have the homeowners sign something, then I’m off and running. I got a really low interest rate, so my payments are under $600! Tentative closing date is Oct. 26, 2005. Gah!
In the past two days I have decided on a house (one called Lake House because it overlooks a lake), been accepted to Marshall University’s School Counseling program to get my second master’s, driven to Greensboro and back* after finding my tax documents from 2002 (with only minor scrapes and bruises), and am fully ready to get my loan.
*Whew*
*I really wanted to see Todd and Cole, but I had to get there and back before the bank closed. I’ll be back soon 😉
