We don’t really have ‘Burbs here, because we have no real cities…
I’ve found the house for me, I think. I’ve been to see it twice and out of all the ones I’ve looked at, I definitely like it most and there are just a couple of minor things I will change. It’s a 3BR/2Bath house. It has new hardwood floors, two gas-log fireplaces, bonus room, central air, all the usual includes, and they’re leaving $5K worth of dining room furniture. I’m going to set up a meeting with him to get the negotiations on paper, as he has already stated that the price is “very negotiable”.
I’m really dreading the meeting. My father won’t go with me; and with my negotiation skills, instead of the $94K he’s asking, I’ll end up agreeing to pay $107K or something. *sigh* Then the real fun begins….applying for the loan. I’ll have to print tax returns from this computer, my old computer, and possibly take a trip to NC to dig out my W-2 forms from 2002. Ugh.
If I make it through all of this, like Jesse said, we will have one hell of a housewarming! :bubbly:
