Hip Hip Hooray, Part 2

Just as I was leaving for work, the phone rang. “No school for students, and staff is on a 2 hour delay.” Whoo! A little later, another call came. “Forget it. School is closed to all students and staff, there’s just too much flooding.” WHOO!

Now I hate that there is a lot of rain and flooding, but I really am glad that there is no work today.

My mom and I braved the roads (like idiots) so that I could purchase my LOTR: TTT Special Extended Edition DVDs. After finding our way home, we decided to stay put for the rest of the day.

*goes to watch yummy men, elves, and hobbits on DVD*

Monday, Monday

A la, la la la. That was my homage to the 60’s. Did you like it? Not much to say right now. Monster House is on in about an hour. Tonight it’s the Underwater House. I think it’ll be incredible. Later comes my Monday night conundrum: Average Joe vs. RW/RR Challenge: The Gauntlet. Last week I started on MTV and switched over to NBC at 10:30. That worked pretty well, so I may try that again.

I adjusted my code for my comments, so hopefully, we’ll get some snow from Houston now *wink wink*

One door closes…

It’s the time of year to be reflective and whatnot, right? Well, I was thinking about my so-called love life. Let’s look at this decade:

2000 For two weeks in July, my deal with Narayan was “official” but since we remained best friends, and even lived together until he moved to Seattle in December, I’m counting it.

2001 After a few random dates, I began dating Martin (in March/April). Now this one lasted until (very) early 2002, but that may appear to be more substantial than it actually was.

2002 After the whole Martin deal, not much happened until the end of June, thus beginning the Jason phase. This lasted only until (early) September, but it was still great because I realized that I wasn’t dead inside afterall.

2003 NOTHING. Aside from Fantasy World, I haven’t had so much as a date. Granted, I moved twice this year to different cities and states, but SHEESH!

Unless something drastic happens, this year is definitely going to end on a sour note. It looks like I’ll be puckering up…and not in a good way. *sigh*
